As the Data Visualization Center of Excellence Manager, I was responsible for developing strategic direction, repeatable product offerings and delivering advanced data visualizations to clients such as Land O' Lakes, MarketForce, Toyota, BMW, British Transport Police, Case New Holland, Daimler, IBM, Pepsi and VW. My data visualizations were embedded within the Endeca portal which combined enterprise search capabilities with advanced data visualization. Technologies include Xcelsius, Excel VB macros & Endeca web services, connected to Endeca proprietary data server & data structures. |

As the Senior Solutions Consultant, I developed applications using Visual I|O advanced data visualization software. Clients such as Daiichi Sankyo focused on visualizing project management information & Eli Lilly focused on visualizing clinical trials information. I focused on the user interface experience & visualization of the data to provide rich interaction and insight whilst the business user sought answers to a train of questions. I used the TeaLeaf solution to monitor internet browser requests sent to internet servers and examine the responses provided by the internet servers. Data visualization software utilizes the same concepts of request/response pairs when retrieving data from databases or Business Objects BW, I use knowledge and techniques from my TeaLeaf experience as a firm architectural foundation for my data visualization’s server interactions. |
